Koh Yao Noi is the second largest island
in Phang Nga Bay. There is still a lot of undeveloped land on the island
and the northern tip has very nice limestone cliffs.
The
Grateful Wall is a wonderful climbing spot. I the winter months
it is completely in the shape. Doot and some of his buddies built
a nice platform at the base of the cliff so folks who aren't on
the wall can relax.
Our tours are flexible. The near proximity to one another makes
ocean crossings appropriate for active novices. Or, we can use our
escort boat to access islands and just paddle along their coastlines.
Our local
climbing guide Doot. Doot has been a climber for most of his life.
He started out climbing for bird nests with the edible nest swift
company that supplies bird spit nest for Chinese soup... eew.
My website
guru and friend Adam Buckley. Adam handles the stuff that wrecks
my brain. Though full-time a computer wiz who rarely sees the
sun, he shot right up a couple of intermediate routes!
Adam's girlfriend
Ella has never climbed before. She fell in love with it right
away and did a pretty darn good job of getting herself up the
rock.
