string(2262) "When is the best time to visit Phuket? The rainy season has some beautiful days and a lot fewer visitors.
Phang Nga Bay is sheltered from extreme weather. That allows us to operate all year, including the rainy monsoon season.
Actually, rain during the monsoon season does not detract from your kayaking experience, it adds to Phang Nga Bay's mystique!
Unless there is a big storm system in the area, most showers are brief and passing. It's quite refreshing. If there is lightning, we either head to a beach (there are plenty and where we go they're secluded) or back to the longtail escort boat. You have a motorized support boat (escort boat) for the duration of your Phang Nga Bay kayaking trip. It stays just out of sight most of the time. There is mobile phone reception throughout the bay. There are only a couple of weak spots. Move a bit and you'll have reception again.

This was May 26th... dead calm and beautiful skies.[/caption]
We take the weather very seriously. We constantly monitor the weather through several sites in both GFS and ICON modes.
The most accurate site is actually a Czech site called Wind Guru. The least accurate site is, surprisingly, the Thai Meteorological site. If you're planning on visiting the area and want to know what's going on with the weather, you can contact us on our inquiry form or on Whatsapp if you just want to chat. You can also send a message on our Facebook page.
