Phang Nga Province, near Phuket, offers a wide range of hiking opportunities. The hiking trails range from flat and easy to rather challenging.
The jungle is as good as it gets. The jungle in Phang Nga Province has wildlife and we’ve seen quite a bit. It doesn’t tend to have the big mammals like you see in Khao Sok National Park, but Phang Nga Province is a very special place.
It costs considerably less to visit than the bigger national parks, there are a lot of stunning waterfalls in Phang Nga, Phang Nga Town is a lovely place to stay, the dining options are wonderful, and one of the biggest benefits is that you can be in Phang Nga Province in just over an hour from Phuket.
We offer several hiking trips in creeks. Creek hiking is fun, easier than hiking in the jungle, and you won’t need to be concerned about leeches when you’re trekking in the creek.
